Kookaburra Stealth Cricket Bats: Grades, Profile and Prices

The Kookaburra Stealth is a power bat with a 1 inch shorter blade and a 1 inch longer handle, which Kookaburra designed for the modern ball striker, and it is the bat Ben Foakes endorses. The Stealth is not part of Kookaburra's 2026 range, so the bats we stock are 2024 and 2025 models, and once they sell the family is gone. This guide explains the Stealth profile and grades, what independent testers made of it, the junior sizes, and lists every Stealth we stock with our prices on 29 October 2026.
The Stealth Profile
Every senior 2025 Stealth in our stock carries the same measurements in its specification:
- Sweet spot: about 170mm to 190mm from the toe.
- Edges: 34mm to 40mm, rounded, with a spine of 60mm to 66mm.
- Scallop and bow: 1mm to 2mm of scalloping and an 11mm to 12mm bow.
- Blade, handle and weight: the shorter blade and longer handle, at 2lb 9oz to 2lb 12oz, or 2lb 12oz to 3lb for the Stealth Max.
Kookaburra's own Stealth range page describes the shape as a big power profile for the player who wants the ball to stay hit, in junior and senior models. Next to the 2026 Ghost, whose sweet spot sits at 160mm to 200mm with 34mm to 37mm edges and a weight of 2lb 8oz to 2lb 10oz, the Stealth is heavier with more wood at the edges. Our guides to the Kookaburra Ghost and Kookaburra Kahuna cover the alternatives, and our guide to Kookaburra cricket bats compares every family.
What the Stealth Numbers Mean
The number is the willow grade, as on every Kookaburra: the lower the number, the cleaner and straighter the grain. In our stock the 1.1 is the top grade, then 3.1, 5.1 and 6.2, all unbleached English willow in their specifications. The Stealth Max is the heavyweight version of the shape. Among the juniors, the 6.4 has a Pro Shield face covering and the 2025 3.1 junior is hybrid English willow.

Every senior Stealth we have weighs 2lb 11oz or more, so this is a family for a strong player. The Stealth Max at 2lb 13oz is the heaviest of them.

What Independent Testers Said
The Cricketer tested the 2024 Stealth 5.1 and scored it 7.9 overall in its Stealth 5.1 bat review. The test bat weighed 2lb 9oz with 35mm edges, at an RRP of £200. Editor Huw Turbervill praised its "sleek design, nice light pick up and creamy middle", and former England international Alex Tudor praised its weight and balance. Not everyone agreed: one Reed's School pupil felt it would suit only players who find the middle consistently, and another tester called it "a bit heavy". A follow-up article named it the best-value bat of The Cricketer's 2024 test. We sell the 2025 Stealth 5.1 at £209.99.
Who Uses the Stealth
Kookaburra's Stealth range page names England international Ben Foakes as the bat's endorser. Our page on what bats the pros use covers the other brands' players.
