New Balance TC Cricket Bats: Every Model and Price

New Balance TC 1000 Max cricket bat

The New Balance TC is New Balance's mid swell bat for the traditional, all-round stroke player. We stock four TC models: one senior, the 2025 TC 1000 Max at £419.99, and three juniors from £44.99 for the Kashmir willow TC 300. The Cricketer has tested two TCs and scored both above 7.5. This guide covers the TC profile, how the grades line up, what independent testers said, and every TC we stock with our prices on 22 October 2026.

The TC Profile

New Balance's UK website does not currently publish its cricket bat range, so these details come from the specification on each of our listings, which describe the English willow TCs the same way:

  • Swell: a mid swell, aimed at all-round play.
  • Edges: large edges on every English willow model.
  • Handle: a 6-piece Singapore cane handle with a semi-oval shape.
  • Grip: a chrome grip on the TC 1000 Max and a baby blue grip on the TC 500 and TC 600 juniors.

The testers put the middle a little higher than that. The Cricketer's TC500 Max testers liked its middle-positioned sweet spot, while Wisden's 2025 bat test logged the top TC 1200 Pro's middle as mid-to-high. Either way the TC sits higher in the blade than the low swell DC, and The Cricketer's testers found the TC500 Max's even pick-up suited back-foot strokes and attacking the ball on the rise. Our guide to New Balance cricket bats covers who makes them and compares the TC with the DC, Heritage and Burn.

What the TC Grades Mean

New Balance numbers run forwards, and on the TC the pattern holds: a higher number is a better grade. In their specification the TC 1000 Max is Grade 1 English willow, the TC 600 Grade 2 and the TC 500 Grade 3, while the TC 300 is Kashmir willow. Wisden notes that the TC range starts with a Kashmir willow junior; in our stock that is the TC 300.

Every TC We Stock

Bat Year Our price In stock
TC 1000 Max 2025 £419.99 SH 2lb 9oz

Senior short handle bats in stock on 22 October 2026. The TC 1000 Max is the only senior TC we have, in a single weight; the senior TC 600 and TC 660 are sold out. It shares its £419.99 price with the DC 1000 Max and Heritage 1000 Max, and at 2lb 9oz it is the lightest of the three in stock. It is in our New Balance cricket bats collection.

Junior TC Bats

Bat Willow Sizes in stock Our price
TC 300 (2025) Kashmir willow 1 £44.99
TC 500 (2025) Grade 3 English willow 6 £119.99
TC 600 (2025) Grade 2 English willow 6 £139.99

The TC 300 is a first bat for a young child, in size 1 only, with a mid-blade sweet spot in its specification. Our guide to English willow vs Kashmir willow explains the difference. The TC 500 and TC 600 are English willow in size 6, for a junior already on a hard ball; the extra £20 for the TC 600 buys Grade 2 willow instead of Grade 3. Use our cricket bat size guide to choose the size and our guide to the best junior cricket bats to compare brands.

What Independent Testers Said

The Cricketer scored the TC600 7.8 overall in its TC600 review, published in March 2026. The test bat had 40mm edges at an RRP of £320. Testers found the pick-up reasonable, and one student summed it up as "ten across the board". Its earlier review of the 2025 TC500 Max scored 7.6, at an RRP of £250 with 35mm edges: testers liked the middle-positioned sweet spot, though some had reservations about the size of the sweet spot.

In the Wisden Cricket Monthly bat test 2025, the TC 1200 Pro, a Grade 1 bat at 2lb 10oz with 3.8cm edges and 12 grains, drew a mixed verdict. Phil Walker found it "a bit boxy" and a little tinny on the drive, but said the balance was excellent and called it "a good hitter's bat option". We stock the TC 600 in junior size 6 only, and neither the TC500 Max senior nor the TC 1200 Pro.
